Commander tools FAQ
What is the best Deckcipher tool to start with?
For most players the Commander Deck Audit is the best first stop. It reads land count, ramp, curve, game changers, and a bracket estimate in one pass, so you can see the whole deck before drilling into a single calculator.
Can I paste a Moxfield or Archidekt decklist?
Yes. The deck tools accept pasted text, file uploads, and a public Moxfield deck URL. Plain text exports from most deck sites, including Archidekt, work as long as each line has a card name and an optional quantity.
Are Commander brackets final rulings?
No. The bracket tools give an estimate based on game changers and deck pressure to help you talk power level before a game. They are a guide for your own pod, not an official ruling.
Can Deckcipher reduce my deck price?
Yes. Price the deck with the Deck Price Calculator to see the biggest costs, then use Budget Alternatives to find cheaper cards that keep the same role. You decide which swaps to make.
Does Deckcipher save my deck?
No. The tools run in your browser and pull card data from Scryfall as needed. Nothing is stored on a server, so paste your list again next time or keep your export handy.
Which tools work during a live game?
The Live Game Tracker and the Commander Damage Calculator are built for the table. Open them on a phone or laptop to track life, commander damage, poison, and the turn while you play.
